Default Model Returning “The model returned an empty response” During Chat

Description
Encountering repeated errors while chatting in the OpenHuman app.
Instead of generating a reply, the app shows:
"The model returned an empty response. Try a different model or check your local provider in Settings → AI → LLM."
Problem
- Happens during normal chat usage
- Occurs even when using Managed settings
- Multiple prompts/messages fail consecutively
- Creating a new chat does not resolve the issue
