Custom LLM provider settings not saving

Description
User GG99 reported on 19/05/2026 that configuring the LLM with a custom provider and attempting to save does not persist the settings — the save action appears to do nothing.
Connor was unable to reproduce on 20/05/2026 and suggested a restart or reinstall as a workaround. No confirmation from the user that either resolved the issue. Follow-up sent 25/05/2026 with no response yet.
No additional details provided on OS, app version, or which custom provider was being configured.
